Last night, I was invited by the Consul-General of Portugal, Ana Luisa Riquito, to offer a Q&A session following the screening of Sérgio Graciano’s film Salgueiro Maia: The Implicated at Toronto’s Spadina Theatre, part of this year’s European Union Film Festival. It was a pleasure to share insights and some of my own family history in what relates to the Carnations Revolution.
